I Am. The Hurricane. (Louis Toliver Jr - Swartz, LA)

Welcome to Nature.

Don’t run.

Don’t be scared.

Let me pull you inside my eye.

Want to see how my life looks from pilot’s view?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Eye:

I am the atmosphere's best tool for transporting heat/thermal energy. So, don't be fooled. I don't act with a cold heart. At the core, my energy is focused & calm. I am cyclical and with the right water source, I can strengthen, even when I appear to be weakening.

The sky is clear, and the winds are just light breezes. Though, we are surrounded by the eyewall, a ring of towering thunderstorms where the most severe weather occurs. My direct impact.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Category 1: Family & Friends

I am full of life. Life is like the wind. It’s blows in many directions. I choose to live my life like the wind. So, dear family and friends, we might have some heavy rains, some flooding, a little wind damage, but the sun will come out once my mission is done. I am sorry for the destruction, but I had to build myself ...all new.

"Some can occur, as well as short-term power outages due to snapped power lines and downed trees."

Category 2: Career

No job that I choose shall ever make me feel as if i must alienate who I am from what I love to do. If you to have to hide what you post on Facebook. You need a new job & freedom to perform that job as yourself. The best professionalism absorbs empathy & compassion.

"Extensive power outages ranging from a few days to a few weeks are common, and people are encouraged to stock up on potable water as filtration systems also fail during this time."

Category 3: Politics

And politics belongs in the area of politics. Religion is not political. Education is not political. Life is NOT political. Men made politics. Shouldn’t we, as creators, be smarter?

"Storms can also cause extensive inland flooding. Electricity and water are commonly unavailable for several days to several weeks after the storm, therefore it’s important for people to have their own stores of canned food and water."

Category 4: The Naysayers

Anyone in my way before, when, & after I make landfall. Be warned, naysayers, I am necessary, but you are not.

"Long-term power outages and water shortages lasting from a few weeks to a few months, so again, it’s important for any remaining residents to have a significant nonperishable food and water supply at hand."

Category 5: Spirituality

I am the hurricane. A natural occurrence, globally. I am necessary. God designed my tropical destruction and rejuvenation. Read my words: I bring light through the darkness of the storm. I am death for masses, but I am life for the individual who prepares for the hurricane.

"Catastrophic damage to property, humans, and animals (read: you should be nowhere near this storm!). Power outages can last for weeks and possibly months. Long-term water shortages should be expected as well, and most of the area will be uninhabitable for weeks or months."
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to the Eye:

I am persistent in meeting my target, my intention, my mission, but my soul cries for the all the collateral damage that gets in my way. But, again, I am necessary.

"This 1-to 5-categorization scale does not address the potential for other hurricane-related impacts, such as storm surge, rainfall-induced floods, and tornadoes, but it does help people gauge the safety measures that must to be taken to prepare before a hurricane makes landfall. Use this breakdown to help you understand what's at stake. "
