PRO-LIFE is being concerned with life from BIRTH TO DEATH. You can’t be a racist if you’re PRO-LIFE. Racists don’t care about children of color. You can’t be homophobic if you’re PRO-LIFE. Homophobes don’t care about children that are born a different sexuality. You can’t be a classist if you’re PRO-LIFE. Classists don’t care about the children in poverty. Let’s not forget those who protect the lives of guns and not the lives of children. That is VERY NOT PRO-LIFE.

Everyone’s tombstone has a dash between their BIRTH and DEATH. I think we need to make sure everyone is making the best of their dash. Our children are in need of healthcare. Our children are in need of education. Our children in are need of nurturing that teaches them about love. All the necessary tools to build a happy life. Being PRO-LIFE isn’t about controlling anyone’s body. Being PRO-LIFE is about maturely taking care of other lives in this world.

That’s what being PRO-LIFE is all about.

Louisiana Words Remembers Jorge Arturo

There’s nothing that hurts more than when we lose someone from our Louisiana Words family. But, the beauty of our writing movement is that the words of our loved ones live on with us. On June 20th, 2023, Louisiana Words Allstar, Jorge Arturo, moved on from this world leaving our hearts broken. He was a charismatic and talented human being. Jorge resided in New Orleans, LA and had been active on Louisiana Words for over a year. To honor Jorge’s life and work, we will be sharing his writing and live performances all Summer 2023.
