blind man
“Why do some words have so many letters and other so few”
thought the mute man
“Why do some men have so much to say when others so little”
thought the deaf man
“Why are some perfumes so expensive and others so cheap”
thought the anosmic man
“Why so some men cry from pain when others don’t at all”
thought the paralyzed man
And what did the average man,
the unchallenged man,
think?
What of the man
Who lives this world unrummaged?
Ah well, I’d have to be quite honest
He didn’t have much to think of at all
