I always wanted someone worth the pursuit,
How did I survive all this time with out you?

You came as a friend when I needed one most,
Then I did fall for you while being your host.

Together our life will be special and whole,
We as one shall be together until we are old.

You are the one to whom my heart belongs,
I will always be there to hold and be strong.

To watch the time and sit in the sun,
Our life will be fulfilled just by being one.

There’s nothing that hurts more than when we lose someone from our Louisiana Words family. But, the beauty of our writing movement is that the words of our loved ones live on with us. On June 20th, 2023, Louisiana Words Allstar, Jorge Arturo, moved on from this world leaving our hearts broken. He was a charismatic and talented human being.
