Friendship is a word, I tend to throw around a lot lately

But I haven't really discovered the meaning of friendship

You have your friends who leave you feeling more alone than you've ever felt..
the same friends who said they would never leave

You have your friends who leave you for their boyfriends or girlfriends..

making you that never ending third wheel

You also have the friends who you are always there for and become their confidant..

yet they don't even care about what's going on in your life

The very same friends who call you their bestie

but don't even talk to you much less want to hang out

Friends should never be like that

so then tell me what is a friend

There’s nothing that hurts more than when we lose someone from our Louisiana Words family. But, the beauty of our writing movement is that the words of our loved ones live on with us. On June 20th, 2023, Louisiana Words Allstar, Jorge Arturo, moved on from this world leaving our hearts broken. He was a charismatic and talented human being.
